Since 1992, East Ocean Teochew Restaurant is well known in Singapore and the region for serving the best in Teochew Cantonese cuisine and dim sum. We work hard to try to preserve the wholesome heritage in our cuisine by maintaining the quality and taste of traditional recipes since our humble beginnings at Shaw Centre, Orchard Road, for 20 years. Preserving the heritage in our cuisine also means using authentic, good quality ingredients, with all food served fresh and piping hot.
When we moved to our current location in Orchard at Ngee Ann City Podium Block, Unit 05-08/09 in 2012, we embraced the traditional goodness of Teochew Cantonese cuisine and infused them into our menu items, while refining our offerings to feature innovative Hong Kong styled Teochew cuisine. From traditional favourites like Steamed Pomfret in Teochew style, delicacies like the Double Boiled Fish Maw Soup with Bamboo Fungus, to a fusion of offerings like Pan-fried Wagyu Beef and Goose Liver, there is something for everyone at East Ocean.
